The idea of Bad Habits flowed out of my search for faith. I couldn’t put together the concept of having bad habits and having a good founded faith, but after much searching and followings came to the conclusion that it is okay the have bad habits, because God still loves you even if you have some.
Being in the printing business for 8 years and helping other entrepreneurs print their own brand, I decided the time was right for me to do my own brand and launch it under the name of Bad Habits.
The idea of the South African slang words came out of working in KZN and hearing the same words over and over, especially “Hayibo” (that was my first design). I did some research and realised that the slang language of South Africans is so unique to us that people from abroad does not know the meaning of our words. I decided clothing is a fun way of showcasing our language.
I also started using DTF printing in my business and knows it is a very high-quality printing method that will not fade, crack or come off from cotton material, also using Heat-transfer vinyl in some designs.
